Livy starts 1st Grade.........

Well if you didn't guess from the slide show, I am sad. My Little Livy is in 1st Grade. Are you serious that I am old enough to have a kid in school all day? I can't believe that for the next 12 grades she will not be home the majority of the day that we are awake. Don't get me wrong I am not even close to considering home school for several reasons, but the top two being #1. I want her to be smart, and if I am being honest with myself #2. I love having time for just Abigail and all by myself when Abi is taking a nap. She is like a completely different kid one on one. I think it is a hard adjustment, but also a great thing for all parties involved. Her teacher is fabulous, and she loves eating lunch with her friends in the lunch room, and her best friend ended up being in her class. What more could I ask for?

How cute is your little girl? I did this last year and it was sooo much harder on me than kindergarten was for some reason. I just felt like I was throwing my baby to the wolves. I'm happy to say we made it through safely. Good luck!

It is such a relief to me to have the girls in the same class. I think Ella having Livy makes all the difference. This has been a real struggle for me.

She makes a very cute 1st grader. I think I will be a little emotional when Hayden starts school. He will always seem like my baby!

Thanks for the nice comment on my blog! I'm officially feeling better about life today so that is good. Your blog is amazing-you need to teach me how to do all the fancy stuff like music, etc. I'm a blog rookie!
PS did you like the movie?

Whitney she looks so much like you it blows me away. She is absolutely beautiful! My oldest just started Kindergarten and I am so sad. They grow up too fast.

Such an adorable slideshow, Whit! Madie was just talking about Livy today...how she was sad that she never gets to see her and "we should just set up a playdate" (cuz that's all it takes--forget that we live 10 hrs. away)!! Well I miss you guys too--can't believe our little babies are this OLD! 2nd grade seems ancient...I agree with the comment about throwing my baby to the wolves...not so sure we've made it through safely though--these kids know WAY too much these days!

Holy Cow....little Livy, moving up in the world. Are you dying Whitt? I couldn't imagine just sending her off to fight her own battles and allowing such independence. I know you have to do it, but why does it happen so fast?
